Guess whats going to happen in THREE little days? SOLD OUT!!! I'm not even going to try and pretend like it takes the place of X-treme. We all know that no youth conference ever could take it's place- but we atleast have a good substitute for now- we atleast have something! I'm soooo excited!! We are having this youth conference with our sister church; Riverside. I've gotten to know some of the people there, and i can't wait to catch up with them. I can't wait to meet new people! I can't wait to reach out to the newer people that are going from MY church. I can't wait to see what the Lord is going to do in the lives of my friends! I can't wait to see what the Lord is going to do in MY life!
On top of all this, our youth worship band is playing a few sets at the conference, and i'm on the team! Now.... i've just recently began learning how to even play the bass, and now i'm playing at this conference! It's a bit crazy, but God has already done so much sanctifying in my life through this whole process of being on the team. Little me being surround by real musicians who know what there talking about, (some) went to school for it, and are all good at what they do. Yeah.... you could say it's been challenging to "keep up" ;) but really, i'm so greatful for the experience. As hard as it may have been at some points, I have gotten to learn so much already!!
Anyways, if you could be praying for this conference that would be wonderful. Pray for conversions! Pray that us on the worship team would keep our eyes FOCUSED on the audience of ONE . Pray that we at palm vista would be able to not only bond with our new people that are going, but with the Riverside people! Pray for a revival!
WOOOO! I'm excited! :)
So what else has been going on? Summer has been wonderful so far. I'm trying to go to the gym more, ha ha (trying is the key word). Also trying to find a job... I could use more prayer on that, i've applied at a lot of places. :)
But yeah. God has been so amazingly kind and faithful to me! What's new :) . He's been allowing me to see my sin and places where 'black and white have turned to gray' and then when i'm tempted (and unfortunately often times am) to go into the 'depths of despair' about those areas and how overwhelming my sin seams, He graciously lifts my eyes to show me that- Rom. 8:1- "Therefore there is now, no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." Hallelujah ! No need for condemnation! Just go and kill that sin! How silly to get offended at the fight!
Don't know if this is making sense, but God has just been doing amazing things and opening my eyes to so much new stuff.
Ok so I'm exremely tired, and not becuase its 10:38. I think 1am has been the average time i've gotten to bed and the next mornings have usually been early ones.
This doesn't do to good with me.... so.... i'm off to bed! :)
